ATTENTION ALERT ATTENTION

Back in the late '70s / early '80s, Gabe's father was in an unsuccessful experimental rock band called This Heat (see if you can pick out which one he is!). They slayed more virgin velcro than any other band in the land. Despite the rumor that they all lived in a house with no heat, they remained a respectable band in the independent rock world for many years. Members of This Heat went on to be in bands like Sleater-Punani, Revenge Sevendust and Mister Valentine.
