Im just finishing up a composition i've been working on with chris(snuffy) for an installation piece titled - "ReEnvisioning". its open ended for all citizens of earth to participate-(thats you!(with your photos). go to brendaregier.com or qualcom.com/reenvisioning to register/get info/make friends. After the installation premiers next week i plan on streaming the score, or putting it up for download- either way it will be free- and on this blog or one similar.
also if your up between 6:30am and 8:00am on monday tune to kpbs to hear chris and i talk for about two minutes on the aleatoric composition which was inspired by the blah blah blah..
- since nineteen i've carried around a minidisc recorder to collect field samples of all the tours/travels/cities/forests/conversations/et cetera- this piece contains many of those samples, and has become a proposition to find conditioned yet unintentional structure within them.
