It's all here.

In other news you already knew, since being elected President of Yikesville, Barack Obama has compiled a truly atrocious resume on civil rights (aside from his recent laudable, but belated and legally obvious, rejection of DOMA). His latest accomplishment: making the Bush-era policy of indefinite detention without trial something that is legal.
Happy fucking Tuesday.
Update: Oh yeah, and this is a very good editorial by Michael Moore.
Numbers don't lie. I moved to the south from Chicago in '03, and I'm looking forward to moving back soon. Feel my pain.
ReplyDeleteI moved here (South Carolina) from Washington (the damned state, not the District of Columbia) 10 years ago. Talk about a switch-a-roo. I freaking hate it here. I hate stereotypes. You know what I hate more than stereotypes? People who legitimize them. Get. Me. OUT. Of. Here.
ReplyDeleteI hope the United States goes the way of Jugoslavia and the Soviet Union and breaks apart. There are so many irreconcilable cultural differences between the South and my native New England that there really should be at least one international border between the two. Let them keep their plantation mentality on their side of the line and let us yankees live with better infrastructure and the social safety nets the rednecks have been trying to cut down all these decades.
ReplyDeleteYou could have done something fun on March 8, 2011 instead of staying home writing hateful things. Go check out the world. :)
